Measuring speed and detecting positions
Our incremental and absolute encoders measure rotary positions with a resolution of up to 0.00017 degrees. The encoders are suitable for use in demanding environments and offer an ingress protection rating of up to IP69K. Procim supplies safety sensors with various SIL and PL levels and are compatible with various safety protocols, including PROFIsafe, CANopen safety, and EtherCAT safety. With a resolution of up to 21 BIT (2,097,152 steps) per revolution and compatibility with all common communication protocols, there is always a suitable encoder available. These rotary encoders can optionally be equipped with a pull wire system to measure linear movements up to 60 meters.
Measuring slope angle and acceleration
Procim supplies tilt angle sensors that measure angle and acceleration using advanced MEMS sensors. By combining acceleration and angular velocity sensors, each with three measurement axes, they can deliver a precise tilt signal that is insensitive to disruptive accelerations, such as vibrations or speed changes.
