TB series

The TB series encoders are high-performance magnetic rotary encoders, SIL2/PLd or SIL3/PLe certified. These encoders are designed for extremely accurate position and rotation measurements, even in demanding industrial environments. The magnetic sensor system ensures precise position detection with a resolution of up to 16 bits (65,536 steps).

For position detection where safety is paramount, the encoders are equipped with four redundant magnetic chips, with two independent microcontrollers continuously calculating the position data. The resulting SRDO (Safety Related Data Object) message is only accepted if the values ​​from both microcontrollers match, significantly increasing reliability. Additional checks such as CRC checks, timing, and voltage monitoring ensure that error messages are detected immediately.

The electrical connection can be made via an M12x1 connector with bus in and bus out options or via a fixed cable. Our encoders are available with all common communication methods.
