Magnetic length and angle meter
The magnetic measuring systems from the SMS series operate contactlessly using an encoder and a magnetized measuring tape or ring. The sensor is connected to a moving part and reads the position without making mechanical contact. This system is wear-free and resistant to dust, dirt, oil, grease, moisture, shock, and vibration.
